The 2024 KTM 390 Duke is an entry-level motorcycle designed for newer riders, offering a blend of performance and ease of use. It features an all-new 5" bonded glass TFT dashboard paired with a new switch cube, allowing for easy interaction with vehicle functions and smartphone connectivity. The motorcycle is equipped with connectivity functions that allow riders to play music, take calls, and navigate with turn-by-turn directions.

The 2024 KTM 390 Duke is powered by a DOHC, liquid-cooled, four-stroke single-cylinder engine with a 399cc displacement, 89.0 x 64.0mm bore and stroke, and a Bosch EFI system with a 46mm throttle body and ride-by-wire control. It produces a claimed 44 hp and has three ride modes: Street, Rain, and Track. Other rider aids include Launch Control, Cornering ABS, and Supermoto ABS as standard. The bike's frame is made of steel trellis, and it has a cast aluminum subframe and swingarm.

Suspension includes a 43mm WP Apex fork with 5.9 inches of travel and compression and rebound damping adjustment at the front, and a WP Apex monoshock with the same travel and damping adjustment at the rear. The front brake is a 4-piston radial-mount caliper with a 320mm disc, while the rear brake is a 2-piston floating caliper with a 240mm disc, both equipped with ABS. The wheels are cast aluminum, with 17 x 3.00 in./17 x 4.00 in. sizes, and the tires are 110/70-17 / 150/60-17 sizes.
